This was the second time I got a chance to cover the wild party in Ft. Lauderdale. Mad Decent has steadily been supplying party music to hardcore enthusiasts and had their first block party in Philadelphia, back in 2008. Just from watching old footage and listening to interviews from Mad Decent helmsman, Diplo, you’d get the sense the party has remained true to its own form. From there it has just kept blossoming into what it is today, so I invite you now to take an in depth look at the Mad Decent fun that overtakes downtown Laudy!
This was a production that involved coordinating several parties including Dave Collier of DC Aerial shooting aerial footage, Bill Arseneau of Revolution Live coordinating venue details and myself on the ground and in their faces, shooting for both Broward-Palm Beach New Times and the venues itself.
